Chapter 85. Back to War

Within two hours of leaving for Langdon, everyone had their backpacks packed and ready to go. In the midst of the Deformity's busy schedule, Isaac and Josh came to their beds. Of course, it was a surprise to Elijah, Lucas, Bernice and Camille.

"You're allowed out already? That's good," Bernice asked in a happy voice.

All eyes were on the two young men, but quickly turned back to them.

Isaac looked very disturbed, he was very sensitive. 

"I can't go into battle yet," Josh said. "My condition is still said to be malnutrition."

Camille chuckled. "You need to eat more."

"I guess so." Josh nodded casually, then flopped down on the bed. "Gosh, from one room to another, I just lie down."

"We're leaving," Elijah said.

"Will you be okay without us?" Josh raised his voice again. 

Lucas patted Josh's leg lightly. "We'll do our best. But if you're there, it'll be even better."

"I'm going to ask permission to go on duty soon,"
