“Why don’t you check the CCTV footage of the bar. I’m sure it caught whoever framed me up for this,” I said annoyingly to the officer in charge of my case.

He stopped typing on his computer and lifted his face to look at me. “We have already reviewed the CCTV, ma’am but the bar was crowded. It’s hard to tell if someone really framed you up.”

My eyes squinted. “Are you saying I owned that narcotics? Me? Why would I freaking sell narcotics? I’m rich!”

Georgina caressed my back, comforting me as she spoke. “Officer, can’t you just let my best friend go? She’s injured.”

“I’m sorry, ma’am. We just really need her to resolve this case. If the drug was really hers, she should face the consequences—”
