Chapter 62. Alive and Happy

Emery’s POV

Terrence was lying on the bed, playing with my hair while I was lying beside him. His arms were wrapped around my body under the thick sheets covering out nakedness.

The solemn sunrise was before my eyes as I enjoyed the feeling of being in Terrence’s arms. The warmth from his body makes me feel so comfortable that I know I could never ask for more than this.

My father disappointed me but Terrence saved me from sadness.

I sighed as I remembered my father.

“Is something wrong?” Terrence softly whispered in my ear after he heard my sigh.

“I just miss my father…”

His arms tightened around my body as his lips softly landed on the back of my neck.

“You wanna visit him? I’ll arrange your schedule for you.”

I shook my head and rested my hand on his arm on my stomach.

“He might be enjoying his life abroad. I’m angry at him for letting this happen, but I still want him to be happy.”
