As soon as the question was out of my mouth, I regretted it. Why did I even ask? It was not okay. It was not safe.

As a vampire now, I had to trust my own kind. And right now, my own kind was Bradley. So if he said that he was the last vampire in Seattle, I was supposed to believe that and not question it.
