Chapter 90. Late for Class

When I say every head, I mean every head turned to look at me. My heart raced even harder and I felt like I was going to die but knew that it was all just in my head and that it was social anxiety. 

“Excuse me?” The lecturer stopped me. It was a blonde lady who had her hair in a very neat bun. She seemed like the type of person who was very strict. “I’m talking to you, miss,” She added and I stopped. 

Gosh, this was so embarrassing. I turned to her and forced a small shy smile as I replied, “Yes?” 

She narrowed her eyes at me and a look of annoyance tinged her features. “Do you know the time?” I nodded and then wanted to apologize but I couldn't because she cut me off and continued, “Do you not value education or are you just one of the ones who are only here because they’re less busy?” She folded her arms on her bosom.
