Chapter 7
Dominic hated my guts for cursing back, so he demanded to have a serious conversation with me. Initially, I complained about the location of our meeting, but he insisted that he’s tired. While on the way to his bedroom, I couldn’t help but be nervous.
I knocked three times before I heard him permitted me to enter, and my eyes widen when I found him on his bed, and his bare chest was visible from the threshold, but he was at least wrapped in a blanket from his toes to his stomach.
“Can you put something decent while I’m here?” I requested.
“Just take a sit,” he ordered.
I clenched my teeth as I considered whether to follow his order or to remain to stand, and I chose the latter. “All we need is our mouth to talk, Dominic, so I don't have to sit,” I defied his order.
“All right,” he said as he turned away from me. I was curious about why he did this, and I thought he was only trying to be relaxed. I waited for a while, but then I heard him snore.
