Logan’s birthday party unfolded with opulence and luxury, down to the finest detail. Jackson and Emma were seated at one of the most prestigious tables, surrounded by influential figures in the business world. This was a table that everyone in the industry aspired to sit at, as being there meant you were part of the circle of power and influence. However, despite the pride such a position could bring, Emma was not entirely satisfied.

She sipped her wine delicately, her eyes drifting toward the distance where Anna was seated with Mr. and Mrs. Anderson, Ricard, and Logan. They were laughing and chatting happily, creating a picture of a perfect and joyful family. The sight stirred a feeling of discomfort within Emma.
