Chapter 49. The Interrupted Performance

Lyra unsuspectingly accepted the juice from Emma, her eyes sparkling with genuine joy. “Thank you, Emma,” she said, smiling as they clinked their glasses. They both sipped their drinks and continued their pleasant conversation. The discussion flowed naturally, centered around music and their shared passion for the harp.
