Emma wasn’t one to be easily intimidated. She was fully aware of Anna’s envious gaze directed at her, trying to undermine her in front of everyone. But Emma was used to such looks, and she wasn’t one to back down. Maintaining her composed demeanor, Emma rose gracefully from her seat, exuding confidence with every move.

Jackson quickly grabbed Emma’s hand, as if trying to stop her. His eyes were filled with concern, silently pleading that he didn’t want her to face potential trouble. But Emma merely smiled, her eyes reassuring Jackson that she knew exactly what she was doing. She gently released his hand, gave a slight nod, and then turned to walk toward Mr. and Mrs. Anderson, Ricard, Anna, and Logan, who were all standing together.

Emma’s steps were full of confidence, yet still graceful. Each stride conveyed determination, as though nothing could shake her. Mrs. Lauren Anderson, with her regal and sharp presence, was the first to speak as Emma approached.
