Chapter 97. Accelerating the Plan

Anna took a deep breath to calm herself after the fit of rage, then stood up from her chair, her gaze becoming cold and determined. She turned to Liliana, who was still standing by, waiting for further instructions. “Liliana,” Anna said, her voice now steadier, “clean up this office for me. I need to go out.”

Liliana nodded, not daring to say anything more as she saw the sharp look in Anna’s eyes. She simply stood there, watching as Anna grabbed her luxurious coat and walked out.

Once Anna had left the room, Liliana sighed, her gaze sweeping over the office, now a chaotic mess after her boss’s outburst.
