Chapter 24

Jaxson opened his eyes, “Ugh…” he moaned and held his head, which was still throbbing. The last thing he remembers is talking to humans.

“Finally, you’re awake!”

Only then did Jaxson look around; he frowned, seeing everyone surrounding him. “Damn it! My head! It’s killing me!” He complains as he tries to sit properly.

“Tell me what happened?” Xavier, leaning against the wall, asked with his firm voice.

“Yeah! What happened? How did you end up berserk, and worse, you fought Xavier?!” Kai asked as his eyes widened in shock.

“How about Wesley? We’ve been looking for him, but he is nowhere to be found.” It was Adam.

These questions made Jaxson frown. Since he just woke up, his mind was still foggy. So he took a deep breath before looking back on what had happened.
