Chapter 31

When Lyca opened the iron door, she saw Wesley lying inside the cage. Ok Lyca was stunned for a moment, but she didn’t show it as she slowly approached to see Wesley better. The guy is facing the other direction, so Lyca is having a hard time checking him; that’s why she comes to the cage.

“Wesley, are you awake? Can we talk?” Lyca asked but keeping her distance. Although the guy is in the cage, she can’t let her guard down. After all, Lyca is confident — Queen Annabelle and Albert are the masterminds in this incident.

Wesley moaned in pain but did not turn or move to check on Lyca. His only movement was to display his hand, stained with blood.

Seeing the blood, Lyca halted. “What happened to you?” Her pinkish cheek turns pale, and her eyes widen.

‘What should I do? I don’t know if Wesley’s wound is life-threatening. However, I can’t enter the cage knowing the danger he can bring me on.’ Lyca uttered while thinking of the right thing to do.
