“What are you talking about?” she whimpers from beneath me, and I grind my teeth, furious at how even her voice affects my thinking.
I should not be feeling this way
She might be Peggy
She might be hiding things from me.

I pull back from her and walk over to my study table where I had brought her to as I bite my lip.
“We have dinner this evening,” I say, trying to cover up my impulsive act. I look back when she doesn’t respond, and I see her still pinned to the wall. Though she looks scared, she’s still looking like an angel.
