Chapter 9
DAHLIA
I open my eyes and immediately twitch at the sharp pain in my head. Recurring over and over again, I press on my forehead and rub, hoping the pain would go away or, at least, reduce. As I rub, I can’t help but groan painfully whenever I reach the part right above my head.
What happened to me?
Then it occurs to me—
I was hit on the head.
It was dark, and I left the mall to wait for Sebastian outside. After the guards went around the building for their security rounds, I was left alone outside for a while.
I remember how anxious I felt when I saw some guys walk past me as they laughed. They looked my age, or maybe slightly older, but the fact that they were many and looked at me suspiciously made me nervous.
I remember when they came back, asking me uncomfortable questions and refusing to leave even when I told them to. It happened fast, but I still remember as they dragged me away from the mall’s entrance when the guards
