Chapter 17

If only this man knows how much I am getting so close to failing. If this continues, I might just throw myself at him again.
But then again, he called me a pervert and a whore the last time. And I am grateful he’s no longer mentioning it because he didn’t let me off the hook easily with that last one. So, no. I can’t kiss him like that. Not again. Maybe never again.
I sit in the car and watch as he walks around the car into the seat.
“You okay?” he asks, and I nod.
“Yeah. Thanks.”
“I told you, I want to make sure you’re okay.”
I smile as his husky voice kisses the lobes of my ear. I try not to look at him as he drives to my dorm, this time not asking what directions to follow.
Did he memorize my house already? It took me weeks to learn the way to my room from the dormitory entrance, and this guy knew the way after one drive.
