Chapter 13

Derrick backed up against the arena wall as the distance between I and him rapidly became smaller. The ground beneath me broke to rubles along my path as if making way for me to pass.

"KIRA, I KNOW YOU'RE STILL IN THERE, SNAP OUT OF IT!!" Derrick yelled with fear and worry painted in his eyes. 

I got to where Derrick stood, and threw my right fist at his face with the intention of ending his life.

Derrick smiled and closed his eyes, saying "I know you can do this Kira." 

I saw the peaceful look that grew on his face, and a teardrop fell from my glowing left eye. As my fist came near him, it missed and hit the wall behind him completely destroying it.

The virtual reality room returned back to the way it was when we came, blank and white. Large streaks of blue lightning flew out of my body randomly as I began to scream in pain again. Both my palms pressed against both sides of my head as the pain returned rapidly.
