Chapter 18

"Kira... Kiraaa!!" Grifo yelled as he rushed towards my lifeless body. "Someone help... Help me.. Something's wrong with Kira!" he yelled again.

Derrick and the other soldiers heard him from outside and rushed in to see what was happening. 

Derrick pushed the door further open, rushed towards me and placed his hand on my cheek, trying to wake me up.

"Kira, Kira wake up it's me... It's me, Derick," he said.

He placed the middle and index finger of his right hand on my neck to check for a pulse, but there was none. He placed his ear on my chest afterwards and waited for a moment. He then sat back on the floor, and without thinking, tears rolled down his cheek. 

Grifo turned to Derrick with worry written all over his face, and asked, "What is it? What's... What's wrong with my sister?"

Derrick looked down at my body again and then turned to Grifo, "She's... Gone…" he answered. 

Grifo got angry and yelled as tears dripped down
