Chapter 29
"We don't have to do this Daimon, you can just realise you're making a huge mistake and help us destroy Hareth," I said angrily, clenching my fist as we floated just above planet Micros.
"That's never going to happen, Kira," Daimon replied, and I said softly, seemingly giving up on bringing him to our side,
"Suit yourself."
We hadn't left the planet completely, we were still under the influence of its atmosphere, so we could hear each other talking clearly, and I made sure we were far enough from the surface so we wouldn't hurt anyone.
Meanwhile, Gregory repeatedly used his blaster to shoot ultraviolet light energy toward Hareth, but the daiganite armour she wore, proved tough.
Hareth walked through the blast unfazed, she grabbed the blaster's snout with her right palm and crushed it, simultaneously smashing her foot into Gregory's stomach. He was sent flying into a red brick wall that stood in front of an alley between two buildings.
