Iniko POV

Seeing as the party is getting its start, I want to be able to enjoy this birthday even if it’s only for a little bit.

I walk to the mirror to make sure that my clothes are nice and they look good. I take myself to the living room, where supposedly everybody is and I see that people are starting to go inside my recently new home. Yet I feel extremely cautious as to what that woman who is claiming to be my mother has come to tell me, that I shouldn’t talk to those who have been with me from the beginning.

“Hey! The party is kind of low, but it’s still pretty cold being here.” I hear Kaelan say and I shrug my shoulders at him.
