Chapter 33
Maybe it's been a day, a week, a year, a decade or a millennium. I'm still in isolation. My demons still disturb me and make me scream. Looking up at a glance, I see that the light of the world is off, and there is only a bluish glow of the moon coming in through the window. This makes me suffer from a feeling of Déjà vu, and, faster than I would normally move, I run into a corner and cry loudly.
My body still shudders and my face gets wet with my own crying when I think I heard my name called. I move my hands away from my ears and listen. The sound repeats, followed by a light blow. Another time, another blow. Confused with my own madness, I run through the padding of the walls with my fingers. I feel a beat vibrate my fingers and I frown. The beat repeats once, twice, three times and a muffled voice pronounces my name again.
“Bee! Is that you? Can you hear me?
I leave my ear on the wall and cring, controlling my hiccups.
