I get dragged to the pack house with everyone hurling insults at me.

How dare she hit the Luna?

She should have her head cut off for her disrespect?

My head? Really? Are these people so blind to the truth that’s right in front of them? Did they really think that I, a lowly omega born, would dare to touch the Luna?

They knew the truth, but no one would dare think of siding with an Omega.

We were now at the pack house, with me on my knees while she thought of the best way to punish me.

“We should have her exiled, Luna.” Mrs. Reyes, the Beta’s wife and Bridget’s mother, suggests.

The Luna shakes her head. “No, Silas forbade me from exiling anyone without his consent. Plus, I want her to suffer for what she’s done.” She said.

They didn’t even care that I could hear everything they were saying, treating me as if I was invisible.

“Shall we have her whipped then?” Mrs. Reyes says.
