Chapter 10

Devin’s POV

You know that feeling in your stomach that’s telling you something important is going on somewhere but you have no idea what it could be?

Well, this feeling has been bugging me the whole day long already.

My life in general is starting to get better.

I am waiting for Gabriel to arrive so we can take the report up to the boss’s office. Thank God recently there was only legal business to take care of.

Oh right. I am the boss’s right hand alongside Gabriel and I must admit we make quite a good team.

There was still no trace of Vicky or her whereabouts. I started to suspect someone from inside the organization didn’t want me to find her.

So while I was waiting for Gabriel I went through everything I knew about Vicky so far. And sadly it wasn’t much.

I was completely engrossed in my data and didn’t even realize Gabriel walked up to me. A deadly mistake if it was someone else. Someone from the rival gangs around London perhaps.
