It was just another day. Nothing special about it really.

My mother was bugging me about my impending doom.

Otherwise called, my wedding.

I and Jasmine used to be best friends once upon a time.

But then our parents decided to throw us into an arranged marriage and what shocked me, even more, was Jasmine’s willingness to go with their plan.

Later on, I realized she had more than friendly feelings for me.
