I went back inside feeling better about the whole thing. I decided to stop at the library first to check out the new books Hazel told me about. It was salked up on one of the tables at the entrance, I went through it reading the title and everything. I ended up giving up soon after because I couldn’t get my mind to focus.

Instead I pulled out a chair and sat down, my mind drifting back and forth between talking to Jet or giving him space to process what happened.
