Chapter 180

FREYA 

I woke up from another nightmare, that’s twice in one night. I touched my face, finding it wet, an indication that I have been crying even though I was completely unaware of it. Feeling more hot than usual, I glanced towards the window, frowning slightly when I noticed it was open.

Edging out of bed, I walked toward it, prying the curtains apart to open the window wider, and finding it odd to be feeling that hot despite how cool the air was against my face. A breezy sound slapped against the window and I could faintly hear the breeze passing through the leaves from the plants that grew around the castle. 

Pushing away from the window, I undressed out of my silky night dress before strolling into the bathroom for a quick shower which by the way ended up being longer than I planned. The water feels so good against my skin and each time I turn off the shower, I go right back to feeling hot.
