Several minutes after everyone departed from our bedroom, Jet still held me in his arms, as if to truly convince himself I was truly fine which I totally get. These past few weeks have been filled with anxiety and what if’s, not knowing if I would make it as a vampire or at all. With my face buried in his chest, I soaked up the feeling of being close to me. 

Every emotion I felt, felt heightened. I felt more connected to Jet than I’ve ever been, while before I could sense his emotions but not feel them the way I do now.
