Chapter 19

Just like in his second residence, Sebastian’s room was dark and sad. It had nothing except for a huge bed…and a golden coffin? She turned around to question him but he just shrugged off his shoulder. Scarlet just rolled her eyes at his arrogance. The man was always proud of his being a vampire, and he didn’t feel inferior about it. 

“If you are not comfortable sleeping next to me, you can choose the coffin.”

Scarlet’s jaw dropped in amazement. Was it a joke? She stared at his face but Sebastian looked serious as hell. “You were just kidding, right?” 

“Unfortunately, no.” 

“Sebastian!” 

“Of course, I am just joking, Scarlet. Can you manage to be alone for a moment? You are safe here, and if you want to freshen up before going to sleep, there’s the bathroom, and you can use one of my clothes.”

“Why? Where are you going?”

“Now, you are being clingy to me,” he said while shaking his head. 

“Damn, you!” She cursed at him
