[Caden’s Story]

After what happened on the swing, she didn’t sleep well but one of their servants woke her up. She still wanted to stay in bed but she had to get up because her father called her to his study room. Victoria was a little nervous because it was not her father's habit to talk to her first thing in the morning and in his private study. 

"Good morning, Dad!" She greeted the father with a blank face as he waited for his entry.

"What's good in the morning, Victoria? Someone saw you and Caden last night. I thought we had a clear conversation!" Giovanni scolded his only daughter because it once again made something to be talked about throughout the village.

She took a deep breath before answering her father. "I want him, Dad," Victoria replied.

"Yes, I know, but dear, he's too old for you! Caden won't marry you!" Giovanni Morgan stood up and slapped the table in front of it to the surprise of the young girl.
