Scarlet was exhausted when they got home. Because of what happened at the resort, they were forced to offer something to their VIPs. Fortunately, Julius and his daughter were so kind to accept it.

Moreover, she believed that Sebastian was also stressed because of what happened. In fact, Sebastian left after driving her back home. He didn’t even say where he was going. So, to fight her boredom, Scarlet decided to just water his garden after changing her clothes.

Unfortunately, it seemed that Alexander was waiting for her. He smiled upon finding her outside, seemingly unafraid despite their past encounter. Scarlet tried to ignore his presence and focused on watering her pants.

"Hey!" she grabbed the water hose as he attempted to take it from her.

"I noticed your boss left," he commented.

"Yeah, he's gone to buy something for the pantry," she lied.

"I'm sorry if I startled you that night," Alexander apologized, his sincerity apparent. She nodded in response
