Chapter 70

A year has gone by.

Jillian walks on her way out of her newly-bought apartment. She locked her door, placed her keys on her bag and went on her way through the elevator and met up with Louis, who was waiting for her at the front of the building.

She smiled at him, and he waved. "Good morning," he greeted first.

"Good morning," she greeted him back. "I can't believe after all this time, you can't figure out where to park. The lot's over there," she said, pointing just towards the direction of her back.

"And I can't believe all this time you can't understand that it's easier this way," he answered back while opening the door for her.

"Someday, this will fall on you."

"Maybe. Maybe not." he smiled, and he got into the car right after.

Throughout the ride, they talked about the upcoming engagement party of Lisa and Leon. Lisa was bragging non-stop about it
