Chapter 77

As the casket was rolled down, Jia tried her best not to cry. Jillian and Lisa, who were by her side, noticed this. They held her hand tightly as Jia closed her eyes.

"It's alright to cry," Jillian said.

Joshua made his way towards the casket and gently threw a rose. By his side were Vince and Leon. Josh knelt down and for a while, he cried. Jia let go of her tears as she saw this, and Jill and Lisa embraced her.

The two connected in their tears, and it hurt a lot more as the casket was being buried. She could no longer see her mother.

All of them cried in silence.

An hour passed by, and all of them accompanied Jia to her place. Jillian and Lisa insisted they'd bring over food instead of her cooking for them. The boys volunteered to fix up the table, and as they were busy, Joshua found Jia sitting outside the balcony.
