It was silent in Kayden’s office after every other wolf left, leaving him and Zayla alone. They were staring at each other, as they both occupy each other’s minds.

Kayden patiently waited for Zayla, expecting her to fire questions after questions. But instead, he got Zayla staring blankly at him, a slight blush blossoming on her cheeks. He couldn’t look away, especially with how Zayla was now squirming in her seat.
