Chapter 78

The Luna of the Blood Moon pack stood boldly in the middle of the clearing. If it was any regular day, she would be whimpering in fear right now or even having a panic attack remembering the day when Jackson Hipple was able to successfully abduct her and hold her hostage for weeks. But right now, all she could think of was her packs’ safety, especially the children.

‘How are you guys over there?’ Zayla was constantly keeping tabs on the children telepathically, getting updates from the elderly women who she assigned to be left with them in a certain hidden space.

‘They are all alright, Luna. We’re all complete, still.’ A weak familiar voice answered, one of the elderly wolves who Zayla has grown close with ever since her return from Spain.

Zayla released a breath that she was holding after hearing how the children were all doing fine. She hopes it stays that way. She prayed to the moon goddess that she could hold the fort down while Kayden was away.
