Chapter 77

With the big black wolf approaching a squirming Cloud under Maximus, a pack of wolves came out barking at Kayden and Maximus.

‘It’s the wolves of the North Carolina pack.’ Maximus stated as he stared at Kayden, who still had his teeth bared.

Just as Cloud’s pack started to surround them tightly, Maximus’ warriors came out as well all in their wolf forms.

The two packs, North Carolina and Alaska, all rounded each other as they each fought with one rival, sometimes Cloud’s werewolves ganged up on one as they were bigger in number compared to the small entourage that the Alaskan pack has.

Although the pack from Alaska lacked in number, watching them attack and defend shows their skill at fighting. They were one of the most coordinated and agile warriors in all of the American packs. It was one of the many reasons that Kayden wanted to gain their trust as his allies, because their skill was beyond his expectations.
