Chapter 131. Making a Deal

Mary didn’t want to argue with Daniel for long for the sake of what they shared. Even when Daniel persuaded her to speak the truth concerning the allegations, she didn’t utter a word but walked out on him carrying the suitcases containing stolen cash of the sum of six million.

If Daniel got Mike taken by Azarial, her job is to bring him back. She knew this isn’t the right time to walk into the vampires’ den after hunting a number of them during the day. Not minding night has come; she made her way into the New Orleans Farmhouse bearing both suitcases.

“You have the nerves to show your face here!” a vampire snarled at Mary. He was standing at the entrance. With his fangs displayed, he wants to let Mary feel his fangs on her neck.

“I’m not here for a fight but to make a deal.” Mary approaches without giving in to fear. This is not the time to talk after killing a dozen of the vampires. Not thinking twice, she just wanted to get Mike back
