Chapter 156. We Want Truce

TWO HOURS LATER

Queen was lost in deep thought. She didn’t know whether to accept Mr. White’s offer or not. All she now wants was to see her brother but that doesn’t mean she will comprise the hunters’ code. Puffing out a cold air she narrowed her gaze on the possessed doll, “I won’t help you kill someone,” she said.

“Then I will have to kill…”

The possessed doll’s words were suddenly interrupted when Mary made her appearance. She walked out of a blue glittering portal. She recognizes the voice she heard. “Mr. White?” she cast a wide-eyed gaze on the possessed doll.

Extending its hand towards Mary, the possessed doll gave Mary the middle finger, and immediately a smoke-like substance left the doll and disappeared into thin air. The doll fell becoming free from the control of the vengeful spirit of Mr. White.

Mary stared at the doll with disbelief on her face. It’s not possible. She salted and burnt the corpse of Mr. White. The spirit shouldn’t be here.
