Chapter 11
POV: Rhys Anderson
As the thunder crashed, Harmony suddenly collapsed on my body, with her full weight almost pulling me back.
“Harmony, Harmony,” I called.
There was no response coming from her. She was freezing cold and shivering terribly. Without bothering to even weigh my options, I immediately took her in my arms and began to walk to her house, with hasty footsteps.
As soon as we had gotten to her door, I was at a loss considering how I was to get in since the door had been locked, and I didn’t want to search her body to see if she had it on her, lest she twisted the narrative tomorrow and stated that I had touched her inappropriately with rape intentions, which of course, was a lie.
“Harmony, please, open your eyes,” I said to her in a pleading tone.
From my experience, I could tell that she was just weak and cold, and she hadn’t really fainted. There was a high chance that she could still hear what was going on, but couldn’t respond because
