Chapter 22
Kingsley opened the door to Queenza's room slowly and entered. In his hand was a tray containing a cup of jam-covered bread and a glass of milk. As far as she can remember, Queenza never ate more than two slices of bread. Unlike the Queenza of the past which turned out to be very greedy.
Queenza was seen still lying on her side on the bed with her back to the door. She's been like this for two days. Just leave the room to daydream. But at least Kingsley was grateful because she no longer heard Queenza's muffled cries when the girl was alone.
"You can't go on like this. Don't you want to go to school and meet your friends?" Kingsley asked as he put the food on the nightstand.
Even if it weren't for Kingsley forcing her, the girl wouldn't have eaten and would have just continued lying on the bed.
"Queen," Kingsley called softly as he sat on the side of the bed. "Aren't you tired of lying like this all the time?"
