Heyon was sitting facing the vampires, who were sleeping peacefully upside down.

“They’re weird, aren’t they?” Seok sat next to Lim, laughing as he watched them

“Weird is you, Kim.” Mark grumbled, startling Heyon who, vehemently, believed they were sleeping.

“Vampires rarely sleep, Yonie, you know that.”

Heyon nodded, looking at the box Seok had in his hands.

“What is it?”

“It’s just some important things from my parents.” Kim opened the box and showed the small objects to the other. “I don’t want it to get lost if something happens to our stuff.”

Seok fetched the gold-framed hand mirror and handed it to her.

“This is my favorite, it belonged to my mother.”

“It’s very beautiful, but is it a normal object, or…”

“Yes, it has magic.” Kim laughed. “Ask him anything you want, he’ll answer you.”
