Chapter 41. Green Mansion (1)
The view from above on the plane enchanted Heyon. The fire-haired little vampire had wide, wide eyes, marveling at the sight of the clouds stretching endlessly below them.
Saejin had purposely chosen the seat next to Heyon, cherishing every moment they could spend together. Despite the hours that had already passed, it felt as if time had stopped, and he savored each second with the young vampire. However, as the plane gained strength and altitude, he couldn’t help but feel a sense of unease.
The older vampire’s pale fingers gripped the armrests tightly, trying to keep his composure. Heyon, on the other side, seemed to be having the time of his life, laughing with excitement.
“Saejinie, look, all you can see are the clouds!” Heyon exclaimed joyfully.
Hwang let out a muffled sound, unable to look out the window and face his fear of heights.
Concerned, Heyon noticed Saejin’s distress and observed him more closely. “You look pale,” he remarked.
