Heyon’s heart pounded in his chest as fear and frustration overwhelmed him. “You still haven’t told me if we’re allowed to use our powers!” he screamed, his voice trembling with anxiety.
Saejin gritted his teeth, knowing that time was of the essence. “Who cares about permission? If they catch us, we’ll be upside down being tortured in a few hours. We need to act now!”
“But what about the southern lady?” Heyon’s voice wavered. “I don’t want her to fight me.”
Saejin’s eyes blazed with determination. “We can’t worry about that right now. We need to focus on getting out of this situation alive. Relax and hurry up, Heyon! Use your magic freely!”
Lim took a deep breath, trying to steady his nerves, but the adrenaline coursing through his veins made it difficult to concentrate. “I can’t,” he admitted, frustration evident in his voice. “I’m so scared, I can’t concentrate.”
