Everyone stood up and applauded the new couple, but they paid attention to the end of the ceremony, which was now marked by the first stroke of the clock that marked midnight.
Aerim faced her queen and smiled. On the second chime, the entire hall went dark. The curtains, once white with delicate flowers, were now burgundy with dark lace.
On the third bell, everyone stood up and watched the hall also change, the chairs disappeared, and wooden tables appeared around them with four chairs each. The place seemed bigger, two stairs now provided the sides of the hall and upstairs, rooms with soft beds with red sheets filled the entire space, with backs being covered by thin crimson silk veils, which swayed with the light wind of each one of the windows.
Heyon gasped, felt his body heat up when Saejin's right hand touched his neck and for a few seconds Lim closed his eyes, surrendering to the touch. But he awoke when he heard the room chime.
