Chapter 60. A Hopeful Reunion
Heyon's eyes refused to open. His body slumped forward, and his knees felt the impact on the wooden floor. Saejin, on the other hand, opened his eyes and looked at him. He felt his cold heart ache even more. Gently, he approached his beloved, crouching down and wrapping his arms around him when he hugged him.
Heyon didn't need to speak for Saejin to know that a father's sad heart was shattered. Seok glanced at them but guided his eyes around. They were in Seoul's old house. Dust had taken over almost everything, and the weathered, dirty, and graffiti-covered wooden walls were filled with hateful phrases, demanding that all demons vanish and leave the people in peace.
He sighed, just like SooMin gasped, causing him to sneeze seven times in a row and start scratching his nose as they used to do years ago, amusing his brother.
"Hey..." Saejin called to Heyon, who remained with his head down. "Don't cry, my love."
