Chapter 143

"Amelia. I am not going to tell you. It defeats the purpose of the surprise. You will see it when we get there." Linc says, but he doesn't open his eyes. His tone is tired but I know he is just feigning it so I can let him be. Fat chance.

I plop down beside him on the sofa that can pass for a bed. He keeps his eyes closed. He looks handsome and I am infuriated by that fact.

"Okay. How long will the flight last? Are we going outside the city? The country? Where?" I want to pull out my hair. I am so frustrated. It is not that I don't like surprises or going on these adventures with him, it is just that I can't help my curiosity. I am usually a pretty patient person but these surprise adventures are pulling out the other side to me.

"Okay. We are going outside the country." Linc opens his eyes, all that intense concentration on me and I flush. Then I squeal excitedly. I have never travelled outside the country before.

"Where? Where? Where? Which country?" I grab his hu
