Chris woke up feeling good. He climbed out of the bed and went to the window, drawing the curtains open. He stared at the daylight and heaved a contented smile. He knew that his happiness has to do with a certain someone sleeping in the room next door. He was still finding it hard to believe that heaven has given him the chance to do the right thing. The chance to finally claim what should have been his.

He could vividly remember that she said she was in love with someone else, but he would love to see the man come and claim her. He refused to believe that he won’t win her over him. The only reason he never pursued her before was because she was Ryan’s woman and he would hate to be the reason they broke up.
