Chapter 40

Taylor’s POV

“You’re doing it all over again, Grant,” Mila said.

I broke down, again. I saw him. The mad who had hurt me multiple times were looking, staring at us. The weight of the truth had settled deep within me, gnawing at my soul and leaving me feeling raw and vulnerable.

“No… please, don’t hurt me. Stay away from me,” I whispered but Grant and Mila were still able to hear me. They look at the guy I was looking to until Michael left.

I was crying so hard for all of the revelation laid unto me and seeing my abuser makes it worse. My body was shaking, I stood up and tried to run away from all of them but my body couldn’t take it anymore. I passed out.

The world around me blurred as I crumbled under the weight of my emotions, my body succumbing to exhaustion and overwhelming despair. Everything seemed to fade away, leaving me floating in a sea of darkness.
