Taylor’s POV
A few days had passed since that eventful night at the bar, and I found myself sitting across from Mavi at a cozy café. The sun filtered through the windows, casting a warm glow on our faces as we sipped our coffees.
“Mavi, I wanted to thank you again for coming to my rescue,” I began, my voice filled with gratitude. “I know it wasn’t your responsibility, but you were there for me when I needed someone.”
He smiled warmly, his eyes reflecting genuine care. “Tay, you don’t have to thank me. I’m glad I could be there for you. Friends help each other through tough times.”
I nodded, appreciating his understanding and support. “Still, I feel like I owe you an apology. I let things get out of hand that night, and it wasn’t fair to drag you into it.”
