“Wait… you’re serious?” I ask him to make sure he knows what he’s talking about.

This all seems too good to be true.

Victors being nice for over two days straight is a fairy tale. It has literally been my daydream since I started this job that my boss would look at me and find a reason to smile.

Well, he’s chuckled a few times, so I guess that’s a mission well accomplished.
