It’s been two weeks since my father left me with that fully blossoming predicament and since then, it’s almost like he disappeared completely.
As the CEO, my dad has minimal responsibilities, which is why I intend to meet with him when he arrives at the hotel today.
To be his bane, just like he made Savannah mine.
“You’re completely sure you have nothing to do.” He makes the statement that sounds more like a question. I have spent the last 90 minutes sitting with him, providing a comprehensive overview of all the recent happenings within the company.
“As the General Manager, you have to know these things.” I told him when he tried to dodge the session. “I need your wisdom and advice on some issues.”
I didn’t, I just wanted to talk and vent, which I usually never do.
