Strange Moisture

After dinner Frank could stop thanking Mary for honoring the invitation and for the time she spent with his family. They actually spent hours approving and discussing the angel Eva had changed to after so many years of surviving as a single mother. She had told them Eva’s harsh reaction towards the men that visited her but didn’t also tell them she was doing sugar boys. That part of her life was something she wouldn’t want to share with anyone; in fact it was a secret she was going to die with, and that had been her decision.

It was late hour when Mary stood up to take her leave. Although they had wanted her to pass the night, she wouldn’t want to give them the impression of a loose woman, so with a warm hug and a gorgeous smile she bade them good night and blushed greatly while Frank walked her to the car.
